The RailGenArchive site is dedicated to a time when it was still possible to travel all over the British Railway network on traditional locomotive hauled passenger trains behind a wide variety of real locomotives.
This site is the official continuation of the 1980's Timewarp project.

The objective of the RailGenArchive project is to gather information recording as accuratly as possible the movements of the classic BR locomotive fleet especially the passenger trains they worked right across the BR network.
The RailGenArchive database at present covers the years 1970 - 1999
and currently contains: 1,029,237 passenger workings in total.
Workings from other years are also inculded where known.
With your help this site will continue to grow and expand.
